Registration with Lahore Chamber of Commerce

The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) was established in 1923 and is currently regulated by the Trade Organization Ordinance 2007. The main purpose of the LCCI is to serve and protect the interests of businesses in Pakistan by proposing policies to the government. Classes of Membership

There are two types of memberships in most Chambers of Commerce and Industry:

Corporate Class:

This is a membership class for companies that are either based or have a branch in Pakistan. In order to apply for this type of membership, the company must have an annual turnover of Rs. 50 million or more.

Associate Member:

An associate member is an individual who is interested in the activities of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, but does not represent any company.

Membership Eligibility

To become a member of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), the applicant must be an entity, such as a sole proprietorship, partnership firm, an association of persons, or a company. The entity must hold a valid National Tax Number (NTN) and Sales Tax Registration (if applicable) in the name of the business concern. In addition, the applicant's business must fall within the defined scope or area of jurisdiction of the District of Lahore. Lastly, the application must be proposed and seconded by existing members of the LCCI. The applicant cannot have any criminal convictions.

Procedure of Membership

To become a member of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce, please fill out the prescribed Membership Form. The Membership Form must be proposed and seconded by two existing members. Please attach all requisite documents and pay the requisite fee at the cash counter of the Registration Office of Lahore Chamber of Commerce.

Documentation Required for Partnership Firm

If you are interested in becoming an LCCI member, you will need to submit a request on firm letterhead to the Secretary General of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The request must be proposed and seconded by at least two existing members. In addition, you will need to submit the following documentation:
- Complete LCCI membership form
- Form C
- Partnership Deed
- Photocopies of Identity Cards for all partners/proposed members
- Photocopy of NTN certificate for the Partnership Firm
- Photocopy of STRN certificate (if applicable)
- Photocopy of Electricity Bill for Business Premises
- Original bank maintenance certificate in the name of the firm

Documentation Required for Private Limited Compnay

You can apply for membership to the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) by filling out an application form on company letterhead and submitting it to the Secretary General. Complete the membership form and have it verified by two existing LCCI members whose representatives are different from each other and from the proposed applicant business. Include a copy of the Incorporation Certificate issued by SECP, the Memorandum of Association, and the Articles of Association. Also include Form II, photocopies of the identity cards for the directors/proposed members, NTN and STRN certificates (if applicable), and a copy of the electricity bill for the business premises. Lastly, provide an original bank maintenance certificate in the name of the company.

The membership will need to be renewed yearly.

Membership Cancellation

The LCCI has the right to cancel a membership or disqualify a member if they breach any provision of the Trade Organization Ordinance, 2007.
